How many faxes can Faxts Now send per hour?
Faxts Now has several thousand outgoing lines. This allows us to transmit thousands of faxes per minute and up to 5 million faxes per day.

What do I need to run your software?
See System Requirements.

How do I maintain my database?
Faxts Now provides our customers with a copy of FaxList, our proprietary software. FaxList allows the user to easily add, modify, or delete records. Utilities are included with FaxList that gives the user the ability to manipulate their data in a number of different ways.

FaxList can be downloaded from our website, but can only be activated once an account has been set up and a Software License Key has been issued.

Is my database confidential?
Yes, your database is 100% confidential and will never be shared or sold to third parties.

Who has access to my database?
Unless you have specified otherwise during the installation process, FaxList will be installed on your hard drive. Anyone with access to your hard drive will then have access to your FaxList program and your database.

At Faxts Now, your data is stored on our secured file server and will only be accessed by a Faxts Now employee at your request.

Other than using the Windows Printer Driver, how can submit my document?
Faxts Now's Printer Driver provides the best document quality by submitting an image file directly into our system. However, if you only have a hard copy of your document, you may submit it to our system by using your fax machine. Please contact Faxts Now for manual submission instructions.

What is a proof copy?
A proof copy is automatically generated and sent to your fax machine 1-2 minutes after you submit a broadcast. It enables you to ensure the quality of your document before it is distributed. Additionally, it provides the following important information:

  • The group number the fax is being sent to and the number of recipients in that group.
  • The scheduled delivery date and time of the fax broadcast.
  • A six digit control number that is specific to each broadcast. This number should be kept for cancellation purposes or any technical or billing questions regarding that broadcast.
  • Estimated transmission time (This is only an estimate and many factors, such as the receiving fax machines baud rate can affect actual transmission time)

What is a control number?
Every fax broadcast that is sent to us is assigned a unique control number. This number can be used to track individual jobs, and if need be, to cancel them. It is also a useful reference for report purposes, cost accounting, and billing inquires.

How do I cancel a job?
Our automated cancellation line is available 24 hours a day. The automated attendant will prompt you for your account number and a control number, both of which can be found on the cover sheet of your proof copy. When these are entered, the job will be canceled and a report will be sent to your fax machine. It is important to note that for a job to be completely cancelled, you must call within the first few minutes of job submission.
