Now provides two pieces of free software to our clients. The
software will enable you to initiate a fax broadcast directly
from your computer into our automated systems. These systems
are running 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
The
FAXLIST® DATABASE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE allows you to maintain
a database of contact and company names and fax numbers. Each
time you alter your database, one click of the mouse will
send those updates to Faxts Now's host system via modem or
FTP (file transfer protocol through the Internet).
The
WINDOWS® PRINT DRIVER SOFTWARE allows you to send your
document (created in Windows) directly into our host system
via modem or FTP. When you transmit the document, a screen
will prompt you for delivery instructions. You will be asked
to select the time you would like your fax broadcast is to
begin (delivery options include immediately, overnight, or
delay to a specific date and time), and if the recipients
are the entire database or groups within the database.
The
time required to download and install software is dependent
on your system resources. Internet Connections with DSL or
greater, we anticipate 1-2 minutes download time for the Printer
Driver software, and 1-2 minutes download time for the Data
Base software. Slower Internet connection speeds could take
as long as 15 minutes for each piece of software.
